Early life[]
Gregory was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to parents Kenneth Gregory and Roberta Kovacs. Her father is African-American, while her mother is of Hungarian descent. Kenneth is a police detective, while Roberta is a pharmaceutical sales representative. Gregory has a younger brother, Justin, and a younger sister, Christina.
Gregory grew up in the Summerlin neighborhood of Las Vegas. She attended Palo Verde High School, where she was an honors student and prom queen. After graduating from high school, Gregory moved to Los Angeles, California, where she studied at a community college while working as a model. She dropped out of college in her second semester, and began modeling full-time. At age 22, she also began working as a VIP event hostess.
